Rakvere Loovuskeskuse kunstnik Jule Käen-Tormi loodud 16. Rakvere Ööjooksu medal on tänavu linna 800 aasta täitumise tõttu esmamainimisest eriliselt väge täis. Jõu ja väe sümbol - tarvas ning kilbikujuline medali vorm on mõlemal juhul kantud pika ajalooga vägeva linna olemusest. 

Medali pälvivad finišijoonel Stebby 5 km, Neptunas 10 km, Kostüümijooksu ja Sportland poolmaratoni lõpetajad. Poolmaratoni lõpetajate medal kuldne, teistel distantsidel hõbedane. Ville Viking lastejooksul on igale lõpetajale laste medal, mis avalikustatakse juba peatselt.

The medal for the 16th Rakvere Night Run, created by artist Jule Käen-Torm from the Rakvere Loovuskeskus, carries special symbolic power this year in celebration of the 800th anniversary of Rakvere’s first historical mention.

 

The aurochs — a symbol of strength and power — together with the shield-shaped design of the medal, both reflect the spirit and long history of this mighty city.

The medal will be awarded at the finish line to all participants completing the Stebby 5 km, Neptunas 10 km, Costume Run, and the Sportland Half Marathon. Half marathon finishers will receive a gold medal, while participants on the other distances will receive a silver medal.

 

At the Ville Viking children’s run, every finisher will receive a children’s medal, which will be revealed soon.
