Rules and Regulations

Competition Center, Distances, and Start Times

 

  • Elke Tallinn Run Date: September 6, 2025, at Noblessner, North Tallinn.
  • Competition Center Hours: 10:00–15:00.
  • Distances:
    • Stebby 5 km
    • Neptunas 10 km
    • Cappy Children’s Run (approx. 200 m)
  • Start Format: Interval starts (10 participants per group, with 8-second intervals).
    • Cappy Children’s Run (ages 0–13): 12:00.
    • Neptunas 10 km & Stebby 5 km: 13:00.

 

Registration

 

  • Registration Website: eestimaraton.ee, available while spots last. Stebby users can pay conveniently using Stebby credits.
  • Registration Principle: Limited spots available with tiered pricing—early registration is cheaper ("early bird" policy).
  • Virtual Participation: Available from August 3 to September 3, 2025.

 

Participation Fees

 

  • Cappy Children’s Run: €3–6.
  • Stebby 5 km & Neptunas 10 km: €19–35.
  • Virtual Cappy Run: €9.
  • Virtual Stebby 5 km & Neptunas 10 km: €20.

 

Note: A €1 service fee applies to each order. Fees include VAT, and virtual participation covers result management and medal shipping costs.


 

Start Materials, Facilities, and Logistics

 

  • Start Materials Pickup: Participants must collect materials by bib number (available online the day before the event). For the children’s run, bibs are issued by name. Materials must be picked up by 12:50.
  • Start Area: Arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time.
  • Traffic and Course Info: Traffic is not closed; participants move on sidewalks and paths, with marshals guiding traffic near the venue. Be mindful of other pedestrians.
  • Course Notes:
    • The 5 km route is GPS-measured; no course certificate.
    • The 10 km route has two hydration points (at 3 km and 8 km). The 5 km route has one hydration point. Neptunas water is available at all stations. All finishers receive bottled Neptunas water.
  • Bag Storage: €2 fee, available from 11:30 to 15:00. Unclaimed items by 15:10 will be discarded. Bring a coin for payment!
  • Participation Modes: Running, walking, or Nordic walking.
  • Facilities: Portable toilets and changing tents are available near the start/finish area. Shower facilities are not provided but are available at nearby gyms (e.g., MyFitness, GYM).
  • Finish Line: Open until 15:00.

 

Cappy Children’s Runs

 

Location: The Cappy Children’s Runs will take place in the event center area, with the start and finish under the Viking Line gate.


Key Information

  • Start Time: 12:00.
  • Age Limit: Open to children under 1 year old up to 13 years old (inclusive).
  • Participation: Children may run hand-in-hand with parents.
  • Distance: Approximately 200 meters, on a hard surface.
  • What Participants Receive:
    • Race bib.
    • A recovery gift bag from sponsors.
    • A medal.
    • A fun and energetic experience!

Race Bib Collection

Pre-registered participants can collect their race bibs by name at the children's race yellow tent in the event center.


Schedule (Approximate)

 

  • 12:00: Girls and boys, ages 0–3.
  • 12:10: Girls, ages 4–5.
  • 12:15: Boys, ages 4–5.
  • 12:20: Girls and boys, ages 6–7.
  • 12:25: Girls and boys, ages 8–10.
  • 12:30: Girls and boys, ages 11–13.

Additional Notes

 

  • Registered participants with race bibs may join any race during the event, regardless of the specific start time for their age group.
  • The schedule is approximate, and races may end earlier than planned.

 

 

Timing and Awards

 

  • Electronic Timing: Provided for the Stebby 5 km and Neptunas 10 km. Timing chips are attached to bibs and do not need to be returned after the race. Bibs must be worn visibly throughout the race.
  • Award Ceremony:
    • Stebby 5 km: Top 3 men and women receive gift cards and trophies.
    • Neptunas 10 km: Top 3 men and women receive monetary prizes (€400, €300, €200) and trophies. Ceremony begins at 14:10.
  • Medals: All finishers receive medals, including Cappy Children’s Run participants.

 

Participant Responsibilities

 

  • Participants are responsible for their own health and fitness levels.
  • Seek assistance from volunteers or medical staff if needed (medical aid is available at the start/finish area and aid stations).
  • Be aware of shared use of sidewalks and paths with non-participants.
