Rules and Regulations

EVENT DATE, LOCATION, AND DISTANCES

• Revin Grupp Midsummer Challenge – Võsu takes place on June 29, 2025, in Võsu, Lääne-Viru County.
• Race Center, Start, and Finish: At the end of Vabaduse Street, Võsu Beach.
• Neptunas Kids’ Races (200-300m) start at 11:00 AM.
• Panasonic 4 km and Neptunas 10 km races start at 12:00 PM.
• Virtual participation is available from May 15 – June 25, 2025.

COURSE AND ON-COURSE SERVICES

• Course: Runs mostly on roads (towards Käsmu) and bike paths (returning to Võsu). The final kilometer passes through Võsu and along the coastal bike path.
• The course can be completed by running, brisk walking, strolling, or Nordic walking.
• Panasonic 4 km and Neptunas 10 km races are electronically timed, with the course open for 2 hours from the first start (until 2:00 PM).
• Aid stations:
  • For 10 km: Located at 3 km, 6.5 km, and 9 km.
  • For 4 km: Located at 3 km.
  • All participants receive Neptunas bottled water at the finish line. Aid stations also offer Neptunas water and Coca-Cola.
• The course is marked, and marshals in reflective vests assist at turns.
• Participants are responsible for safely passing other pedestrians and cyclists sharing the path during the event.
• The 10 km course length has been measured using GPS systems. (Panasonic 4 km is approximately 4.4 km.)

START PROCEDURE

• Starts will occur in intervals or waves: 10 participants every 8 seconds.
• Neptunas 10 km participants start first, followed by Panasonic 4 km participants.

REGISTRATION

• Register via ööjooks.ee by June 28, 2025, or until spots are filled. Payment can be made through Stebby or directly on the organizer's website.
• Registration follows a "first come, first served" principle: The earlier you register, the lower the participation fee.

Participation Fees:

• Neptunas Kids' Race: €4–€6.
• Panasonic 4 km and Neptunas 10 km: €19–€29.
• Virtual Panasonic 4 km and Neptunas 10 km: €25.
• Virtual Neptunas Kids' Race: €9.

Note: An additional payment processing fee of €1 applies. Virtual participation fees include result processing and postage.

RACE MATERIAL PICKUP

• Race materials will be distributed on June 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Race Center in Võsu (on the seaside end of Vabaduse Street).
• Materials include a bib number with an electronic timing chip and safety pins.
• To pick up your materials, you must know your bib number, which will be available on the ööjooks.ee website (under the "Registered Participants" list) the day before the event.
• Please bring an ID.
• Neptunas Kids’ Race bibs will be distributed by name.

RACE CENTER SERVICES AND PAID PARKING

• Services at the Race Center include separate changing tents for men and women, an information desk, medical aid, and event guidance from a host.
• Bag check: €2 (coins required).
• Portable toilets are located 50 meters from the Race Center on Vabaduse Street.
• No on-site showers; paid shower access is available at Võsu Sports Hall (~800 m from the finish line).
• Parking in Võsu is paid (from Eha Street to Simona Bridge on Rakvere Road). Mobile payment options are available. More information here.

TIMING AND RESULTS

• Timing is provided by Nelson Timing OÜ.
• Results can be disputed within 30 minutes after the race ends by submitting a written complaint at the information desk.
• Final results will be confirmed no later than 7 days after the event.
• Results will be posted on ööjooks.ee and the organizer’s Facebook page.

NEPTUNAS KIDS’ RACES

• Location: Near the Race Center (at the end of Vabaduse Street, Võsu Beach). Starts begin at 11:00 AM.
• Bib numbers for pre-registered participants will be distributed by name at the Race Center.
• Ages: Participants from under 1 year to 13 years (inclusive) are eligible. Parents can accompany younger children.
• Distances: Approximately 200–300 meters, on asphalt and forest trails.
• Participants receive a bib number, a medal, a gift bag with energy-boosting items, and a summer running experience.

Tentative Schedule:

• 11:00: Girls and boys 0–3 years.
• 11:10: Girls 4–5 years.
• 11:15: Boys 4–5 years.
• 11:20: Girls 6–7 years.
• 11:25: Boys 6–7 years.
• 11:30: Girls and boys 8–10 years.
• 11:35: Girls and boys 11–13 years.

All registered participants wearing a bib may join any age group start during the kids' race period. Schedule is approximate and races may end earlier.

PRIZES AND SOUVENIRS

• Neptunas Kids’ Race: Medal and gift bag.
• Panasonic 4 km and Neptunas 10 km: Medal and gift bag.
• E-diploma and Viking Line bonus card for travel to Finland.
• Top 3 women and men:
  • Panasonic 4 km: Trophies and sponsor gifts.
  • Neptunas 10 km: Trophies, sponsor gifts, and cash prizes.
• Award Ceremony: 1:20 PM at the Race Center.
• Raffle Prizes: 1:30 PM (3 x Night Run fan shop gift bags).

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participants are responsible for their health and safety during the event.
• By starting, participants confirm their ability to complete the course and must seek help from volunteers or medical personnel in case of a health issue.
