THE PINK SHIRT RULE

Since 2014, the Estonian Night Run starts in Rakvere have been held in a sports shirt issued by the organizer, the design and color of which changes every year. The organizer has implemented this special requirement based on the desire to increase the sense of belonging at the start and on the course and to increase the experience that participants have while running through the city streets from the start to the finish. The requirement has applied to all distances (except for the Costume Run, children's races and half marathon tempo masters). Participants who do not comply with the rules will be disqualified and the finishing time will not be recorded. The medal will not be awarded at the finish line.

Starting in 2025, for the 15th consecutive organization and with the aim of offering the joy of participation to as many current and new Night Run friends as possible, an opportunity has been created to participate at a lower price – in your own shirt. On the condition that the color of this shirt is PINK throughout 2027.

By participating with their own shirt, the night runner redeems a cheaper ticket for 10 € (the cost of the shirt provided by the organizer). In addition to the cheaper ticket, this is an opportunity for people who value the environment to reduce their ecological footprint. Choose a new shirt only if you want, need it and find an active use for it.

• Can the shirts be printed on and have a different cut?

Yes, you can use a sleeveless running shirt, a long-sleeved shirt or a classic T-shirt. Yes, additional happy, supportive or team-characterizing prints on the shirts are allowed. For example, Fazer Team, Rakvere Eragümnaasium, the Tammed family, etc. All messages must comply with the law and must not harm the rights and dignity of any social group.

• Who is exempt from the requirement to wear a pink shirt?

Participants in the costume race and children's race. Half marathon pacers (to increase visibility).

• In summary

Participating in your own pink shirt is an option. If you still want to conveniently receive a uniquely designed sports shirt provided by the organizer in the starter package, select it during registration (an additional 10 € will be charged).

CHECK THE SHIRT SIZES BEFORE PURCHASING (shirt model same as in 2026). There will be no shirt exchange on site.
