PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
DATE, TIME AND LOCATION
• Ülemiste Night Run 2026 takes place in Tallinn on 14–15 August 2026.
• The start and finish are located in front of Ülemiste Centre on both event days.
• Race Pack Collection takes place at the Apollo Cinema Event Centre (Apollo Cinema, 2nd floor – Star Lounge), located inside Ülemiste Centre (Suur-Sõjamäe 4, Tallinn). The venue can be accessed by lift, via the shopping centre stairs (before the cinema entrance), or through the Ülemiste Centre parking garage (Level 4).
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY?
FRIDAY, 14 AUGUST – THE MOVEMENT FESTIVAL
• The course comes alive with live entertainment, including orchestras, choirs, DJs, acrobats and dancers.
• With thousands of participants expected, the Neptunas 10 km will be held on a single-loop course for the first time. The route heads through central Tallinn before returning to Ülemiste City, where participants experience the event's entertainment zone.
• The focus is on bringing people together through movement and creating an unforgettable atmosphere rather than competition.
• Expected participation: 4,000–5,000 participants.
SATURDAY, 15 AUGUST – THE SPORTS DAY
• Saturday features the Baltic States' most unique Half Marathon course—four laps, including the ascent through a multi-storey parking garage on every lap.
• Due to the Half Marathon's generous 3-hour official time limit, there are no live performers along the course. Instead, participants enjoy a combination of music, lighting effects and DJs.
• With fewer participants, Saturday is designed primarily for runners who enjoy competition and personal performance.
• Expected participation: 1,500–2,000 participants.
• For the first time in 2026, Half Marathon participants will benefit from an additional 30-minute grace period after the official finish closes. Finishers arriving during this period will still receive their medal and an official finish time, giving participants a total of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the race.
GOOD TO KNOW
• The Friday and Saturday finisher's medals are different.
• The courses are completely different on each day.
• On Friday, the first races start at 22:00; on Saturday, the first races start at 21:00.
• Participation on both days requires wearing the official Ülemiste Night Run 2026 event T-shirt, which is included in the entry fee.
• With the COMBO Offer, you can participate on both evenings at a discounted price and enjoy:
o two different medals,
o two unique race courses,
o two completely different event experiences,
o while receiving one official event T-shirt.
One evening you can enjoy the event at a relaxed pace with your family, and the other you can challenge yourself by running with friends, training partners or colleagues—or the other way around. The choice is yours.

START PROCEDURE AND COURSE INFORMATION – FRIDAY, 14 AUGUST
• Entry to your designated start corral is based on your race bib number. Please follow the signs.
• Participants should enter the start corral at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start.
• Participants in the Stebby 5 km and Costume Run complete one lap within Ülemiste City. The exact course length is 5.25 km.
• For the first time, participants in the Neptunas 10 km complete one continuous course. The first section runs through central Tallinn before returning to Ülemiste City, where participants will experience numerous entertainment points along the second half of the route. The first 5 km does not include entertainment stations—the highlight is the opportunity to run or walk along Tartu Road, Kunderi Street, Pronksi Street and Türnpu Street, roads that are normally closed to recreational runners.
• The first half of the Neptunas 10 km course includes two tram crossings. Participants moving at a slower pace (walkers, joggers and Nordic walkers) may occasionally be required by traffic controllers to wait approximately 20–40 seconds to allow passenger trams to pass. Under the traffic management agreement with the City of Tallinn, organisers are permitted to delay tram traffic by a maximum of 25 minutes during the event.
• The Neptunas 10 km course includes two refreshment stations (approximately at 5.5 km and 8 km).
• The Stebby 5 km and Costume Run course includes one refreshment station (approximately at 3 km).
• Kilometre markers:
o Neptunas 10 km – black background
o Stebby 5 km and Costume Run – red background
• The courses are not officially certified. Distances have been measured using Garmin GPS devices (parking garages measured using calibrated equipment), with additional verification performed using the Estonian Land Board's digital mapping system. The exact lap length of the Stebby 5 km and Costume Run course is 5.25 km.

• Participants are fully responsible for counting their own laps and entering the finish at the correct time.
• The 5.27 km course includes one refreshment station.
• Kilometre markers on the 5.27 km course indicate only the 5 km point.
• The official time limit is 3 hours for the Half Marathon and 2 hours for all other races, calculated from the first start. For the first time in Ülemiste Night Run history, Half Marathon participants will have an additional 30-minute grace period after the official finish closure, during which they will still receive an official finish time and their finisher's medal.

• By starting the race, participants confirm that they are physically capable of completing the chosen distance. • Participation on both event days is permitted only while wearing the official neon green Ülemiste Night Run 2026 event T-shirt together with the race bib displayed on the front (except Costume Run and Children's Race participants).
Please make sure you have your official Ülemiste Night Run 2026 NEON GREEN event T-shirt before arriving at the event.
