What is Ülemiste Night Run?

More Than a Run - An Experience!

Ülemiste Night Run is more than just a sporting event - it is an unforgettable experience. It is created by organizers who design the kind of event they would love to take part in themselves.

Ülemiste Night Run is part of the Night Run Estonia event series, which has been taking place across Estonia since 2011. The event has been held in Tallinn and Ülemiste City since 2020.

Every aspect of the event is designed to inspire participants. The routes showcase the modern urban landscape of Ülemiste City, passing iconic landmarks, parking structures, and unique buildings that are normally inaccessible during sporting events. Music, spectacular lighting effects, live performers, and entertainment along the course create an energetic atmosphere from start to finish.

The experience begins with a dynamic opening ceremony and culminates in a festive finish featuring flame effects, LED screens, smoke effects, and professional show production. Our goal is to make running and movement exciting, inspiring, and enjoyable—instead of something that feels repetitive or intimidating. The event welcomes everyone, from experienced runners to complete beginners and anyone looking to embrace a more active lifestyle.

Every participant is valued equally, whether they choose to run, jog, walk, power walk, or Nordic walk. All finishers receive a commemorative medal and a participant gift bag. Every participant also receives the official event sports shirt, which is included in the entry fee. The shirt features a brand-new colour and design each year, creating a unique sense of community and an unforgettable visual spectacle as thousands of participants move together through the streets of Ülemiste City, between its modern high-rise buildings and alongside Tallinn Airport.

The start and finish area is located in front of Ülemiste Centre, Estonia's largest shopping centre. Free parking is available in the Ülemiste City parking areas throughout the event evening.
