WHAT IS TALLINN GRIT

Stebby Tallinn Grit is an endurance running event. It’s a celebration of movement where a limited number of participants can cover a personally achievable distance on an attractive 915-meter urban course. Participants can choose challenges lasting 1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, or 6H.

You can take part by running, walking, power walking, or Nordic walking. Whether you see it as a race, a workout, or a personal challenge, the experience and sense of accomplishment are guaranteed. Completing the event signifies the participant’s true essence – courage and endurance.

EVENT DATE, LOCATION, AND DISTANCES

• Date: Stebby Tallinn Grit takes place on May 18, 2025
• Start Times:
  • 3H and 6H: 10:00 AM
  • 2H and 5H: 11:00 AM
  • 1H and 4H: 12:00 PM
• Virtual Option: Participation is also possible virtually between April 18 and May 14, 2025.

COURSE AND SERVICES

• Course: The route runs on sidewalks, light traffic roads, and park areas in Tallinn city center: Uus Turg – Drama Theater – Estonia National Opera – Tammsaare Park – Viru Hotel – Tammsaare Park – Uus Turg. The lap length is 915 meters.
• Marking: The course is signposted and directed at all turns.
• Safety: The course will be shared with city residents and non-participants, so participants are responsible for moving safely and overtaking others responsibly.
• Refreshments: The aid station will provide water, juice, Coca-Cola, and snacks (banana, pickles, oranges, bread with salt, etc.).
• Personal Supplies: Participants can place their marked water bottles (name written with a marker or labeled with tape) on a designated table.

REGISTRATION

• Registration is available on ööjooks.ee until May 17, 2025, or until spots are filled. Payments can be made directly via Stebby on the organizer's website.
• A limited number of spots are available for each challenge, with varying fees based on registration time. Early registration is cheaper (early bird principle).

PARTICIPATION FEES

• 1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H:
  • First round: €25
  • Second and third rounds: €35-45
• Virtual Participation: €19 (includes medal, result management fee, and mailing cost).
• Note: A payment processing fee of €1 per participant applies. Participation fees include VAT.

START MATERIAL PICK-UP

• Date and Time: May 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:50 AM
• Location: Uus Turg (square between Tammsaare Park and Drama Theater).
• Start materials include a bib number with an electronic timing chip and safety pins for attaching the bib.
• Participants must know their bib number, available on ööjooks.ee (Registered Participants List) a day before the event.
• Please bring an ID for pick-up.

EVENT CENTER SERVICES

• The event center will provide:
  • Separate changing tents for men and women.
  • Information desk.
  • First aid (bandages, cleaning supplies, cold packs, etc.).
  • Free bag storage.
  • Outdoor toilets along the course.
• Note: No showers will be provided. Paid options are available at nearby gyms (e.g., MyFitness, Gym).

TIMING AND RESULTS

• Timing is managed by Nelson Timing OÜ.
• Participants can contest results within 30 minutes of the event's conclusion by submitting a written complaint at the information desk.
• Final results will be confirmed within 7 days of the event and published on ööjooks.ee and the organizer’s Facebook page.

AWARDS AND SOUVENIRS

• Stebby Tallinn Grit medal
• Stebby Tallinn Grit e-diploma
• Framed course completion certificate for 3H, 4H, 5H, and 6H participants.
• Energy recovery gift bag.
• No separate awards ceremony; rankings will be determined, and a group photo will be taken at the finish.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

• Participants are responsible for ensuring their own health condition is suitable for the event.
• By registering and paying the participation fee, the participant confirms:
  • Agreement to the event guide and organizer’s terms.
  • Consent to the use of personal data in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Agreement to receive important event-related emails (e.g., reminders, offers, updates).

ORGANIZER RIGHTS

• If the physical event cannot take place due to health risks or safety concerns, it will be conducted as a virtual run. All participants will be transferred to the virtual event (no refunds).
• The organizer has the right to cancel the event due to high health risks, weather conditions, or government restrictions. No refunds or compensation will be provided.
• The organizer can adjust the event guide as needed.
• Participants who disrupt others may be denied entry to the race area.
• Non-compliance with the guide may lead to disqualification.
• The organizer reserves the right to use event photos and videos for marketing purposes.
