TIME AND PLACE OF THE EVENT
- Ülemiste Night Run – Tallinn will take place on 9–10 August 2024 in Tallinn.
- The start and finish will be in front of the Ülemiste Centre on both days.
- The Competition Centre is located on the first floor of the Ülemiste Centre (Suur-Sõjamäe 4 Tallinn).

- 20.00 – Cappy Children's Runs
- 21.00 – Concert in front of the Ülemiste Centre
- 21.45 – Greetings and warm-up exercise
- 22.00 – Starts of the Neptunas 10 km
- 22.10 – Starts of the Stebby 5 km and the Costume Run
- 23.30 – Award ceremony in front of the Ülemiste Centre
10.08.24
- 21.00 – Start of the K2 half marathon (4 laps along the 5,27 km Ülemiste City circle)
- 22.00 – K2 individual and K2 TEAM half marathon starts (interval starts will be used – teams will start together).
- 23.30 – Award ceremony in front of Ülemiste Centre
Please note:
- Participation on both days will take place wearing the official Ülemiste Night Run 2024 T-shirt and the bib number on the chest.
- It is possible to take part in the K2 distances with a T-shirt issued for the participation on the previous day (if you take part in the Night Run on 9.08.24, you will get a discount on the price of the T-shirt on 10.08.24).
- In case of cancellation of the Night Run for reasons beyond the control of the organisers and in case of withdrawal of the participant (regardless of the reason), the entry fee will not be refunded. Pre-purchased T-shirts, promotional items, as well as gift vouchers, will only be issued on site at the Competition Centre until 23.50 on the evening of the selected run day. There will be no later dispatch and shipping – the participant loses the right to redeem the items after the indicated time.
TIMING AND RESULTS
- The Stebby 5 km; the Neptunas 10 km, the Costume Run 5 km and all K2 distances are timed electronically.
- Walking and Nordic walking are allowed on all distances. The time limit for the half marathon is 3h and 2h for the other distances.
- Proposals and observations related to the timing will only be accepted before the final results are confirmed and until 00.00 on the evening of the selected day of the competition.
- Protests can only be submitted in writing to the information desk at the Competition Centre. The fee for filing a protest is €20. The time limit for processing the protest is up to 7 calendar days. The fee will be refunded only in case of a positive decision/acceptance of the protest.
REGISTRATION
- Online registration (including the Stebbys) is open, subject to available places: www.ööjooks.ee.
- Registration is based on the principle that each event has a fixed number of places and a fixed number of places with different entry fees – the earlier you register, the cheaper it is. The “Early Bird” principle.
- Reregistration of name and trail is ONLY possible until 5.08.2024. The fee for reregistration is €10, plus any difference in entry fees.

9.08.24 (Friday)
- Stebby 5 km: €29 (400 places); €39 (1300 places)
- Neptunas 10 km: €29 (600 places); €39 (1700 places)
- Costume run 5 km: €20 (100 places); 25€ (100 places)
- Cappy Children's run: €6 (370 places)
10.08.24 (Saturday)
- K2: €10 (100 places); €15 (200 places)
- K2 half marathon: €10 (100 places); €15 (200 places)
- K2 TEAM half-marathon: €10/person (200 places) €15/person (200 places)
The K2 entry fees are indicated on the assumption that the night runner has also registered for the distance of their choice on Friday (except for the Cappy Children's run) and that the K2 format is participated with the run’s T-shirt issued on the previous day.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
- VIRTUAL Stebby 5 km and Neptunas 10 km: €25
- VIRTUAL Cappy Children's run: €6
- VIRTUAL K2 and VIRTUAL K2 half marathon: €25
The entry fee for the virtual competition includes a medal and a shirt. A shipping fee will be added.

For information:
- It is possible to take part in the K2 distances with a T-shirt issued for the participation on the previous day (if you take part in the Night Run on 9.08.24, you will get a discount on the price of the T-shirt on 10.08.24). The discounted price will be automatically applied to the K2 distances as long as the registration is valid and active on Friday evening.
- All participation fees include 22% VAT.
- When registering via the Internet (bank link), a service fee of €0.5 and an environmental fee of €0.5 per registration will be added to the participation fee.
ISSUE OF START MATERIALS: GROUND FLOOR OF THE ÜLEMISTE CENTRE
- Start materials (including the competition shirt, which is made from technical fabric and is quick-drying) will be issued on the basis of the start number (please bring your identity document). Start number will be published on ööjooks.ee – 8.08.2024
- For the Cappy Children's runs, the start materials will be issued on the basis of name.
- The start materials of another participant can be picked up by simply signing the authorisation or by having the ID card or a copy of the ID card of the other participant and knowing the start number.
- Start materials (bib number, shirt, etc.) will be handed out on the first floor of the Ülemiste Centre:
- Thursday 8.08.24 at 16.00–20.00
- Friday 9.08.24 at 16.00–21.00
- Saturday 10.08.24 at 16.00–21.00
IMPORTANT: The organiser will stop issuing start materials 1h before the start of the run (except K2 half marathon).
START AND TRAIL MANAGEMENT
- Access to your start group is by bib number – follow the signs in the corridor.
- Participants are requested to be in the start corridor at least 10 minutes before the start of their start group.
- Participants in the Stebby 5 km (including the Costume run) will complete one lap and participants in the Neptunas 10 km will complete two laps.
- The K2 course is 5.27 km long, which individual and team half marathon competitors will complete once. The K2 half marathon participant completes the lap four times (21.1 km in total).
- The trails are illuminated with street lights and km markers are in use on 9.08 (Friday): for marking 9 km and on 10.08 (Saturday) for marking 5 km.
- On both days, 1 refreshment point will be provided on the 5 km circle: a refreshment point will be located near the Competition Centre just after the start gate and in intended on the way to the next circle (Neptunas water, Cappy juice, Coca-Cola).
- There will be no refreshments points on the trail for Stebby 5 km and Costume run participants – Neptunas water will be provided at the finish.
- The time limit is 3h for the K2 half marathon and 2h for the other distances from the first start.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTICIPANT AND AGE CATEGORIES
- The participant is responsible for their own state of health when taking to the trail.
- When taking to the trail, the participant confirms that they have sufficient physical capacity to complete the run and, in the event of a health problem, turn to volunteers or medical staff at the trail (medical assistance is available at the Competition Centre).
- Participation on both days is only possible wearing the official Ülemiste Night Run 2024 T-shirt and the bib number on the chest.
Keep to the right! If you want to take it easy, keep to the right side of the trail. This way, faster runners can pass smoothly from the left side of the trail.
Pets! Participation with pets is prohibited.
Pay attention! We ask you to choose a pace that is suitable for the Night Run, which will ensure a good feeling of well-being on the trail and at the finish, and will help to avoid health problems.
AWARDS, PRIZES, E-DIPLOMA, MEDAL, SHIRT
- Downloadable e-diploma.
- Energy regenerating gift bag.
- Estonian Night Run medal (including Cappy Children's run): 9.08 and 10.08 medals are different.
- The registration fee includes the Estonian Night Run shirt, which is made from technical fabric and is quick-drying (choose the appropriate size when registering). The shirt will be waiting for you at the Competition Centre on 8.08–10.08.24. The size of the shirt chosen at registration cannot be changed at the time of issue. Shirts will only be issued until 10.08.24 at 23.00. No shirts will be posted. The participant loses the right to claim the shirt after 10.08.24 at 23.00.
- Viking Line will reward the participant with a trip for two from Tallinn to Helsinki and back. Passenger charges apply.
- The top 3 women and men in the Stebby 5 km and Neptunas 10 km absolute will be rewarded with trophies and sponsors' prizes.
- The top 3 women and men in the Stebby 5 km will be rewarded with a Stebby gift voucher to be used in the Stebby environment.
- The top 3 women and men in the Neptunas 10 km absolute run will be rewarded with cash prizes (1st place – €700; 2nd place – €400; 3rd place – €300).
- The top 3 women and men in the K2 absolute will be awarded with trophies.
- The top 3 women and men in the K2 half marathon absolute will be awarded with trophies and cash prizes (1st place – €800; 2nd place – €500; 3rd place – €300).
- K2 will also award a special prize (€500) for the “ÜLEMISTE SPRINT KING” and “ÜLEMISTE SPRINT QUEEN” for the fastest parking garage run through, from the ground floor to the top (parking garage A).
- The award ceremony will take place in front of the Competition Centre, the Ülemiste Centre, at 23.30 on both nights. Come and join in the fun and have a great experience!
WASHING, LUGGAGE STORAGE, DRESSING, PARKING
- A paid luggage storage (€2) will be open next to the main entrance of the Ülemiste Centre from 19.00 until the end of the event at 00.00. All deposited parcels and clothing items not removed by participants after midnight will be disposed of by the organiser. BRING A COIN!
- The organiser is not responsible for any items (valuables) left in the luggage storage. The use of the luggage storage is the responsibility of the participant. Toilets and warm rooms for waiting are located inside the Ülemiste Centre. Outdoor privies are located in front of the Ülemiste Centre in the parking garage.
- No organised washing and/or changing facilities are provided.
- Participants are welcome to park in marked parking spaces in the Ülemiste City district. We kindly ask participants not to park in front of the Ülemiste Centre (there is no parking fee exemption in front of the Ülemiste Centre).
CAPPY CHILDREN'S RUNS
- The Cappy children's runs take place in front of the Ülemiste Centre. Starts at 20.00.
- Pre-registration numbers will be handed out from the Competition Centre on the basis of name.
- Children's runs are open to children from under the age of one to 13 years (and can be run hand in hand with parents). Distances are age group based.
- Children's distances are about 200 m. Most of the course is on asphalt.
- Participants of the Children’s Runs will receive a bib number, an energy boosting gift bag from the sponsors and of course a Night Run experience + medal.
Indicative timetable:
20.00 girls 0–3 years.
20.10 boys 0–3 years.
20.20 girls 4–5 years.
20.25 boys 4–5 years.
20.30 girls and boys 6–7 years.
20.35 girls and boys 8–10 years.
20.40 girls and boys 11–13 years.
Anyone can take part, regardless of when they arrive. The timetable is indicative and runs may finish earlier than scheduled.
ORGANISER’S CONTACT DETAILS AND RIGHTS
- The Ülemiste Night Run is organised by MTÜ Rakvere Marathon in cooperation with the City of Tallinn, the Ülemiste Centre, Ülemiste City developers and other supporters.

- The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the guidelines as necessary.
- The organiser has the right to prohibit people who are disturbing other participants from staying in the competition area and entering the start.
- The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant in the finish protocol who does not comply with the event instructions and rules, including the requirement to wear the official event shirt.
- The organiser has the right to use all photos and video footage taken by the organiser during the event for marketing purposes.
- The organiser is not liable for events cancelled due to Force Majeure (including virus outbreaks, pandemics, etc.). In the event of cancellation of the event for reasons beyond the control of the organiser, the participation fee will not be refunded.
- The organiser is not responsible for the work of the company providing the timing service.
- The organiser will only accept protests submitted in writing to the Secretariat (information desk). The protest fee is €20. The time limit for processing the protest is up to 7 calendar days. The fee will be refunded only in case of a positive decision/acceptance of the protest.
- The Organiser reserves the right to remove from the venue any unlicensed photographers who do not represent media groups and who sell photos/video footage for money after the event (including Sportsphoto medium). Photographs taken for the personal use of the spectator/primary spectator are allowed and strongly encouraged. Photos/videos for sale are only permitted with the prior written agreement of the event organiser.
